Unveiling the Hidden Idols in Christmas Celebration

Living Church Ministries international

Bishop Demetrics Roscoe

The preaching of modern-day Gospel messages differs from the readings of the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. The biblical events involving Yahweh's servants, who spoke the Word of God, faced threats of beatings, imprisonment, excommunication, and death. Today's Bible message emphasizes being blessed and highly favored, more than a conqueror, the grace of God will over take me, and the depth of God's love for us. There is strong evidence, however, that idolatry, sorcery, adultery, and Israel's worship of pagan gods and goddesses, along with ancient mythology, undermined the Covenant between Israel and the promises outlined in Moses's writings.

Paganism within the Church

Many people are unaware that it is the same God of Israel who instructed Jeremiah to cease praying for the people, as He would not listen to those prayers.

Jeremiah 11:10-14

14   Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up a cry or prayer for them: for I will not hear them in the time that they cry unto me for their trouble.

All the star characters featured in our Christmas celebration—the Deer, Santa, Tree, Holly, and Mistletoe—have names that were and continue to be revered by Pagans.

History shows that the Adversary often manipulates leaders among the children of the Most High to corrupt their worship with concealed idols, obstructing their understanding of their true purpose in Adonai's plan for HIS kingdom.

Jeremiah 11:10-14

10   They are turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers, which refused to hear -- my words; and they went after other gods to serve them: the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken -- my covenant which I made with their fathers.

11   Therefore thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon them, which they shall not be able to escape; and though they shall cry unto me, I will not hearken unto them.

12   Then shall the cities of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem go, and cry unto the gods unto whom they offer incense: but they shall not save them at all in the time of their trouble.

13   For according to the number of thy cities were thy gods, O Judah; and according to the number of the streets of Jerusalem have ye set up altars to that shameful thing, even altars to burn incense unto Baal.

14   Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up a cry or prayer for them: for I will not hear them in the time that they cry unto me for their trouble.

Jeremiah 11:11-14

The Message Bible

11-13 “Well, your God has something to say about this: Watch out! I’m about to visit doom on you, and no one will get out of it. You’re going to cry for help but I won’t listen. Then all the people in Judah and Jerusalem will start praying to the gods you’ve been sacrificing to all these years, but it won’t do a bit of good. You’ve got as many gods as you have villages, Judah! And you’ve got enough altars for sacrifices to that impotent sex god Baal to put one on every street corner in Jerusalem!

The God of Israel commanded Jeremiah to stop praying for those who engage with idol spirits. In the Christmas celebration, the Adversary has cleverly hidden some of the most powerful goddesses from the Kingdom of darkness, changing their names but maintaining their true identities as embodiments of the idol gods they represent.

Santa is Saturn, the stag (deer) is Cernunnos, the god of nature, decorations are from the feast of Saturnalia, and most importantly, it is the Wiccan, or Witches' Craft Highest Sabbat.

14 “And as for you, Jeremiah, I don’t want you praying for this people. Nothing! Not a word of petition. Indeed, I’m not going to listen to a single syllable of their crisis-prayers.”

We confidently praise Yahweh for the New Testament's perspective on the Messiah, Yeshua, recognizing Him as the sole keeper of the Covenant. By trusting the Messiah and maintaining our Covenant with Him, who is able to keep us from falling, we find safety because the Messiah is the Living Word of God. When devils attempt to lead us to worship other gods concealed within the Christmas Celebration, we will firmly resist and remain faithful to Christ our Lord.

For those who may not be familiar with the Messiah's role in your life, we can confidently explore your personal Covenant with the Holy and Divine role of the Messiah.

The new movement of God focuses on unveiling the doctrine of the Messiah. We are no longer satisfied with the Preacher's best message; instead, we are establishing a space for the power of God to decisively end Satan's reign over the Earth.

Psalm 2:1

1 WHY DO the nations assemble with commotion [uproar and confusion of voices], and why do the people imagine (meditate upon and devise) an empty scheme?

2 The kings of the earth take their places; the rulers take counsel together against the Lord and His Anointed One (the Messiah, the Christ). They say,

3 Let us break Their bands [of restraint] asunder and cast Their cords [of control] from us.

4 He Who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord has them in derision [and in supreme contempt He mocks them].

5 He speaks to them in His deep anger and troubles (terrifies and confounds) them in His displeasure and fury, saying,

6 Yet have I anointed (installed and placed) My King [firmly] on My holy hill of Zion.

7 I will declare the decree of the Lord: He said to Me, You are My Son; this day [I declare] I have begotten You.

8 Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations as Your inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth as Your possession.

9 You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them in pieces like potters’ ware.

10 Now therefore, O you kings, act wisely; be instructed and warned, O you rulers of the earth.

11 Serve the Lord with reverent awe and worshipful fear; rejoice and be in high spirits with trembling [lest you displease Him].

12 Kiss the Son [pay homage to Him in purity], lest He be angry and you perish in the way, for soon shall His wrath be kindled. O blessed (happy, fortunate, and to be envied) are all those who seek refuge and put their trust in Him!

Psalm 110

  A Psalm of David.

1 THE LORD (God) says to my Lord (the Messiah), Sit at My right hand, until I make Your adversaries Your footstool.

2 The Lord will send forth from Zion the scepter of Your strength; rule, then, in the midst of Your foes.

3 Your people will offer themselves willingly in the day of Your power, in the beauty of holiness and in holy array out of the womb of the morning; to You [will spring forth] Your young men, who are as the dew.

4 The Lord has sworn and will not revoke or change it: You are a priest forever, after the manner and order of Melchizedek.

5 The Lord at Your right hand will shatter kings in the day of His indignation.

6 He will execute judgment [in overwhelming punishment] upon the nations; He will fill the valleys with the dead bodies, He will crush the [chief] heads over lands many and far extended.

7 He will drink of the brook by the way; therefore will He lift up His head [triumphantly].
